Abstract
Large AMOLED Backplane Patent Trend Analysis report studies AMOLED
backplane technology patents of Korea, U.S., Japan, and Europe that were
issued prior to June 10, 2010 and selects 2,310 valid patents out of 9,154 raw
data. The patent trend is analyzed based on a technology classification system
consists of a-Si TFT, LTPS, Oxide TFT, SGC(Super Grain Silicon), SPC(Solid
Phase Crystallization), and others(MIC, MILC, etc.).
Chapter 1 discusses the technology overview, technology classification
system, search formula, search result, and valid patent status.
Chapter 2 offers statistical analysis result such as overall trend,
detailed technology trend, and applicant trend to be used as basic data for
effective R&D strategy establishment based on the understanding of AMOLED
backplane technology R&D. In particular, the applicant trend analysis offers
