Summary
SUICA is a multi-application smartcard platform which is used in Japan for
railtickets, e-cash, building access and other appliations.
With 8 million users and in the near future more than US$ 5 billion in
transactions per year, SUICA promises to become one of the important e-cash
systems in Japan.
The present report describes the SUICA system in approx. 60 pages with about
