360? Degree Analysis of the European Powertrain Market for Passenger Vehicles published by Frost & Sullivan in December, 2009. This report price starts from US $ 7000.
Abstract
The European automotive market has been facing several challenges on the
grounds of meeting emissions norms over the years. Several technologies and
strategies have been adopted by vehicle manufacturers in Europe for meeting
these legislations on emissions. Some of the strategies and technologies
adopted by vehicle manufacturers include engine downsizing, turbocharging,
hybridisation, integrating exhaust after-treatment systems and more fuel
efficient transmissions. This study analyses the various powertrain
technologies that have been introduced and are likely to be introduced in
future. The study also analyses vehicle manufacturer' s powertrain solutions
and their likely future decisions.
