Connectivity Strategies and App Monetization to Open New Revenue Streams for Automotive OEMs

The focus of this study is to strategically compare and analyse the European and North American OEM and supplier benchmarking of in-vehicle connectivity, infotainment, and human machine interface (HMI) technologies and services. OEM and supplier profiles, key market trends, and recent developments in the market are discussed. The study also explains in detail telematics service offerings and smartphone application models of different OEMs. Additionally, the study focuses on the HMI strategies and app-based business models that are currently being followed. This study also provides key conclusions and recommendations based on the current value chain dynamics.
