Abstract
The report is devoted to investigation of cement market in the Central Federal
District of Russian Federation, its development under crisis conditions and
forecast till 2015. The report consists of 4 Sections; contains 66 pages,
including 10 Figures, 28 Tables and Appendix. The work is a desk research. As
informational sources, we used data of Rosstat (Federal Statistic Service of
Russia), Federal Customs Service of Russia, official statistics of railage,
sectoral and regional mass-media, annual and quarterly reports of companies,
web-sites of companies producing cement as well as databases by "GS-Expert".
The first Section is devoted to cement production in the Central Federal
District. The Section offers statistics of the production in the country in
2007-2009, data on regional and commodity pattern of the production, as well
as on volumes of cement production by individual enterprises. Besides, the
Section analysis current standing of leading players on regional cement
market, including data on pattern of ownership, available productive
capacities, range of the products, plans of the business development,
directions and volumes of cement shipment.
The second Section is devoted to consumption of cement in the Central Federal
District; it presents supply-demand balance of the product for the latest 3
years, estimates dynamics of changing "apparent" consumption of cement in the
region. Besides, the Section offers sectoral and regional pattern of cement
consumption in the Central Federal District.
The third Section of the report is devoted to analysis of price conjuncture of
Russian cement market and market of the Central Federal District.
The fourth, final Section of the report gives forecast of cement production in
the Central Federal District, forecast of end-uses development, as well as
forecast of cement consumption in the Central Federal District under
conditions of crisis for the period 2010-2015.
