Introduction

Abstract

The report is devoted to analysis of glass fibre and glass fibre products market in Russia in 2005-2009 and forecast of its development till 2012. The report is composed of 6 Sections, contains 87 pages, including: 24 Figures, 41 Tables and appendix. As information sources, data of Russian Federal Statistic Service, Russian Federal Customs Service, sectoral and regional print press, annual and quarterly reports of companies, web-sites of company-producers of glass fibre and glass fibre products, GS-Expert data-base were used.

The first Section of the report presents brief information on existing technologies of glass fibre production and used raw materials.

The second Section is devoted to analysis of production of r glass fibre and glass fibre products in Russia. The Section presents statistics of production in 2005-2009, as whole in Russia, as well as by leading Russian producers. Besides, the Section presents description of current standing and prospects of development of main Russian glass fibre producers, including data on capacities, volumes of production; plans on development of production.

The third Section of the report describes foreign trade operations in glass fibre and glass fibre products in 2005-2009. It presents data on volumes of export and import in bulk and in money terms. Estimation of commodity and regional pattern of supplies is also given in this Section as well as data on volumes and directions of glass fibre and glass fibre products supplies by leading Russian exporters and importers.

The fourth Section is devoted to analysis of glass fibre and glass fibre products consumption in Russia. The Section presents supply-demand balance of glass fibre and glass fibre products in the country in 2005-2009, estimates sectoral pattern of consumption of glass fibre.

The fifth Section of the report provides price analysis and describes dynamics of changing of prices on glass fibre and glass fibre products of Russian production as well as prices on imported products. It also presents current prices of some Russian producers.

The sixth, final Section of the report presents forecast of development of market of glass fibre and glass fibre products in Russia up to 2012.

The Appendix presents contact data of Russian glass fibre producers.
