Introduction

Abstract

The report is devoted to investigation of Russian white cement market in 2005 - 6 months 2010 and estimation of crisis influence on its development. The report consists of 6 Sections; contains 41 pages, including 16 Figures, 18 Tables and 2 Appendixes. The work is a desk research. As informational sources, we used data of Rosstat (Federal Statistic Service of Russia), Federal Customs Service of Russia, sectoral and regional mass-media, annual and quarterly reports of companies, web-sites of companies producing and supplying white cement as well as databases by "GS-Expert". Also phone interviews with representatives of white cement producers and trading companies were made.

The first section of the report brief characteristic of white cement is resulted, its classification, the basic requirements applied to its quality are considered, the basic advantages of white cement in comparison with grey cement and areas of its application are specified.

The second section is devoted the analysis of white cement production in Russia. In this section the statistical data on volumes of white cement production in 2005 - 6 months 2010 as well as forecast of volumes of production in 2010 is given.

In the third section of the report the analysis of the foreign trade operations with white cement is carried out. The data on volumes of the foreign trade operations in natural and money terms, regional pattern of export and import of white cement, the data on volumes and directions of supplies by major exporters and importers of this product are given.

In the fourth section of the report the data on major suppliers of white cement on the Russian market is cited, technical characteristics and a chemical composition of their products are specified, the data on volumes of deliveries to the Russian market is given.

The fifth section of the report is devoted the analysis of consumption of white cement in Russia. In the given section the supply-demand balance of white cement in 2005 - 6 months 2010 is resulted, dynamics of its change is described, and also the forecast of consumption for 2010-2011 is given.

In the sixth, final, section of the report price analysis is carried out. The data on dynamics of prices on imported white cement broken by countries and the companies-suppliers, and also the data on prices for the Russian and imported cement in July, 2010 is given

In appendixes the contact data of white cement producers and importers is given.
