Abstract
The report is devoted to analysis of current conditions of dolomite market in
Russia and some CIS countries and forecast of its development till 2015. The
work describes only enterprises, the main product of which is metallurgical
dolomite and dolomite for glass industry. Enterprises, specialized in
production of dolomite (ground dolomite) for agriculture and broken stone are
not covered by the study. The report consists of 6 Sections, contains 101
pages, 24 Figures, 54 Tables and Appendix.
The first Section of the report presents data on resources base of dolomite,
including regional structure of location of reserves of dolomite in Russia,
Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus, data on reserves of the greatest of deposits
of dolomite.
The second Section is devoted to description of the main end-uses of dolomite
in industry and available classifications of dolomite products and
requirements, imposed on their quality.
The third Section is devoted to analysis of data on volumes of mining and
production of dolomite in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus, in
2005-2010, including statistic data on volumes of mining and production of
dolomite by leading companies, description of their current conditions,
commodity structure of production, characteristics of produced products and
analysis of the main destinations and volumes of supplies.
The fourth Section is devoted to analysis of foreign trade in dolomite of
Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus,, including dynamics of exports and
imports, regional structure of supplies, data on volumes and destinations of
supplies of the greatest exporters and importers of dolomite.
The fifth Section presents analysis of dolomite consumption. The Section
offers supply-demand balance of dolomite in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and
Belarus, appraisal of sectoral and regional structure of the consumption in
Russia, data on volumes and destinations of supplies of dolomite to
enterprises of ferrous metallurgy and glass industry, which are the greatest
consumers of dolomite in Russia.
The sixth, final Section of the report presents forecast of dolomite market
development in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus, in 2011-2015.
The Appendix includes addresses and contact information on the main dolomite
company-producers in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
