Asia/Pacific (Excluding Japan) Mobile Operators' Profiles published by IDC in October, 2009. This report consists of Pages: 17 and the price starts from US $ 3500.
Abstract
This IDC study looks at the mobile operators' current situation
and future development within Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ, particularly
in Australia, the People' s Republic of China (PRC), Malaysia, and
South Korea. This study includes a SWOT analysis on the
profiled operators and showcases their quarterly performances for 2008.
"In markets
where voice revenue continues its spiral downward, data services play
an ever-increasing role. Operators across the region have invested heavily
on increasing the bandwidth of their networks in order to
prepare for the proliferation of mobile multimedia services that they
hope will occur now that performance is not an issue.
The challenge will be choosing the right technology and providing
the right mix of contents and tariff," says Alex Chau,
senior research manager, Mobile and Wireless Technologies/Services, IDC Asia/Pacific.
