Abstract
This IDC study contains results from a top-level study of
U.S. digital camera, camera phone, and scanner owners. The survey
focuses on key consumer imaging applications, including quantifying how many
images and video clips users capture, delete, print, and archive.
An analysis of images scanned is brought to light, and
trends are identified across survey responses. The data is presented
by capture technology where applicable and by total respondents.
"IDC believes
that consumers' interest in converting their photo prints to digital
will rise as their digital experience expands." Ron Glaz,
program director, Worldwide Digital Imaging Solutions and Services
