VoIP offers opportunities but also poses challenges to many telecommunications players in the EMEA region, especially to telecom operators that will have to contend with declining traditional fixed voice subscriber bases. All telecommunications companies, but especially telecom operators, will have to consider how VoIP fits into their broader strategies to successfully develop their consumer VoIP services."
