IDC suggests that enterprises get insights from existing successful cases or cooperate with experienced service providers in this area to avoid detours in the construction process.
"Various factors such as corporate strategies, business lines, technologies, security, and reliability need to be considered in the process of constructing the cloud computing platform. End users need to meet the requirements in these areas and reduce software, hardware, and service integration costs; however, challenges may still occur. Therefore, users need to give priority to end-to-end complete solutions while constructing the cloud computing platform," says Thomas Zhou, senior research manager, Enterprise System and Software, IDC China.
