The content of this report is based on primary data obtained through interviews with cable modem makers. The report finds that the Taiwanese cable modem industry' s shipment volume and value both saw sequential and year-on-year growth in the fourth quarter of 2009. With the global economy recovering in 2010, the industry' s shipment volume is forecasted to gradually pick up and see year-on-year growth in 2010 when compared with shipment volume achieved in 2009.
