The report is devoted to investigation of current standing of market of copper
wire rod in Russia and other CIS countries and forecast of its development.
The report consists of 6 Sections, contains 96 pages including 23 Figures, 46
Tables and 2 Appendices. The work is desk study. As information sources, we
used data of Rosstat, Federal Customs Service of Russia, the official
statistics of rail transportation, "Railways," the Association "power cable",
sectoral and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of companies, as
well as web-sites of company-producers. The first chapter of the report is
devoted to the resource base and technology to produce copper rod. This
chapter provides information about the main types of raw materials used for
the manufacture of copper rod, given the volume of its production. The
technology of manufacture of copper rods, the basic equipment used and the
power of the largest manufacturers, technical specifications for copper rod
for electrical purposes ..
The second chapter is devoted to analysis of production of copper wire rod in
Russia and other CIS countries. The data on the dynamics of production
(1991-2011) And the structure of production by major companies that produce
these products (2004-2011).
The third chapter presents information on the largest producers of copper wire
rod in Russia. We describe the data on the range and quality of products,
production volumes and plans for the development of enterprises. The fourth
chapter is devoted to analysis of foreign trade operations of Russia and other
CIS countries in copper wire rod in the 2002-2011. The dynamics of exports and
imports of copper rod, volumes and destinations of supplies, provides
information on the level of average annual contract export-import prices in
Russia in the copper rod, describes the customs and tariff regulation of
foreign trade in copper wire rod.
The fifth chapter describes consumption of copper wire rod in Russia.
Calculation of apparent consumption of copper wire, given the dynamics of the
manufacture of cable products in Russia, describes the main company-consumers.
The main consumers of copper wire rod in the other CIS countries.
In the final, sixth chapter of the report presents forecast of development of
