This review is the tenth edition of the market research of calcium chloride in the CIS.

Market monitoring is conducted since 2000.

The purpose of research - market analysis of calcium chloride in the Russian and CIS countries.

The object of study is calcium chloride in solution and in solid form.

This work is a Desk study. As information sources, we used data of the state statistics Committee of the CIS, Federal service of state statistics (Rosstat), the State statistics Committee (SSC) of Ukraine, the State balance of mineral reserves of the Russian Federation and the USSR, official statistics of rail transport of "Russian Railways" JSC, Federal customs service of Russia (FCS), State customs service (SCS) of Ukraine, the National statistical Committee (NSC) of the Republic of Belarus, the statistics Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan (RK). Also benefited from the databases of the United Nations (UNdata), sectoral and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities, and also Internet-sites of producers and consumers of calcium chloride, the database of "INFOMINE".

The chronological scope of the study: 1995-2014; forecast - 2015-2020

Geography research: Russian Federation - a comprehensive detailed analysis of the market, other CIS countries - production and foreign trade operations.

The survey consists of 6 sections, contains 104 pages, including 41 tables, 20 figures and Appendix.

In the first Chapter of the survey provides information on available technologies of production of calcium chloride, their features, required for the production of raw materials. Also in this section, data on the main sources, flows and volumes of supplies of raw materials.

The second Chapter is devoted to the production of calcium chloride in the CIS countries. This section describes the requirements of the existing normative and technical documentation to the quality of calcium chloride, presents statistical data on volumes of release of the product in the CIS countries and in Russia (divided into solid and liquid), describes the current state of the largest producers of calcium chloride.

In the third Chapter of the review presents data on foreign trade operations in Russia, Ukraine and CIS countries with calcium chloride over the period 2000-2014.

The fourth Chapter presents information about the level of prices on calcium chloride in the domestic market in 2002-2014, and analyzes data on dynamics of export-import prices on the product in Russia in 2000-2014 and Ukraine in 2000-2013

In the fifth Chapter of the report describes consumption of calcium chloride in Russia. In this section the balance of manufacture-consumption of this product, sectoral structure of consumption, describes the current state of the main fields of consumption of calcium chloride, as well as the current state and prospects of development of the greatest enterprise-consumers.

The sixth Chapter presents forecast of development of Russian market of calcium chloride for the period up to 2020

The Appendix presents addresses and contact information on the main companies producing calcium chloride.

Target audience research:

  • participants of the market of calcium chloride manufacturers, consumers, traders;
  • potential investors.
