This report focuses on research of current helium market conditions in Russia
and forecast of its development. The report consists of 6 parts, contains 104
pages including 17 figures, 30 tables, and Appendices.
In the course of the work implementation we have analyzed multiple sources of
information, particularly data of state bodies - the Federal Service of State
Statistics (FSSS Russia), JSC RZD (statistics of rail transportation), the
Federal Customs Service (FCS). Besides, data of companies, the database of
InfoMine, mass-media materials and the Internet information were used.
In addition, some data were verified and refined through telephone interviews
with specialists of the enterprises discussed in this report.
All this has enabled InfoMine's experts to identify the picture of the helium
market in Russia and prospects for its development.
The introduction provides information about properties of helium and methods
of obtaining.
In the first chapter of the report mineral resource base of the helium in
Russia is described, description of promising for developing fields and
reserves of helium is presented.
The second chapter of the report is devoted to production of helium in Russia.
In this section, the report presents statistical data on volumes of helium. In
addition, the qualitative data on the products are given. Characteristics of
the only producer of helium in Russia is provided here.
In the third chapter of the report export-import operations in helium in
2005-2011 are considered. Characteristics of exports of this product by
brands, countries and consumers are presented. Besides, the characteristic of
helium imports by country-supplier and Russian consumers are given.
The fourth chapter presents data on domestic prices for helium, as well as the
dyna-mics of export and import prices.
In the fifth chapter of the report consumption of helium in the Russian
Federation is described. This section provides supply-demand balance of this
product, sectoral structure of consumption. The consumption of compressed
helium gas and liquid product is separately considered.
In the sixth chapter of the report forecast of development of Russian market
of helium up to 2020 is presented.
The Appendix presents addresses and contact information of enterprises
producing and consuming helium.
