Abstract

This is the first in a series of ‘Convergence Watch' papers being produced by MMD highlighting convergence market developments in the major European markets of the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. The objective of these papers is to initially describe the activities of the key mobile players in their respective convergence markets and document their rates of progress and market impact. These market monitor papers are also to be supplemented by two strategy papers from the wireless profit program which again focus on the MNO opportunity:

  • Driving EBITDA Through Convergence - published in early August 2007;
  • An Assessment of MNO Convergent Strategies in Europe - due in September 2007.
