OVERVIEW

This programme assesses the impact of NFV, SDN and cloud technologies on the conventional service fulfilment systems and their evolution to automated service design and orchestration systems. Our research offers insights into the role of service design and orchestration systems in enabling intent-based network automation creating the foundation for zero-touch autonomous operations. Our research helps telecoms operators, communications service providers (CSPs) and vendors to understand how disruptive technologies such as vRAN/ORAN and network slicing will affect service design and orchestration systems.
