  What formats and delivery methods are available?

The available formats depend upon the formats that are offered by the content provider. Currently, our website offers publications in PDF, Web Access, Word, Excel, CD-ROM, as well as hardcopy.

  How long will it take to receive my order?

Many of our products are available for web access or delivery via e-mail and customers can expect delivery within 1-2 business days from the time of the order.

hardcopy delivery is made via international courier, which generally takes no longer than 5 business days.
Delivery times vary depending upon availability and the location of the supplier in relation to the end-user.

  What payment options are available for orders?

We accepts payment in either U.S. dollars, Japanese yen, Won and NT$ via check, bank transfer, or credit card. Euro invoices are available upon request.

  How much extra am I paying for publications purchased through Global Information, Inc.?

Global Information, Inc. maintains a strict policy of selling publications at the same price offered by the content providers themselves.

  Is prepayment necessary for orders?

Established customers receive special priority treatment. In general, first time customers without established accounts will be expected to either prepay for their first order. After the first order, and an active account has been established, you can expect immediate delivery. In addition, our corporate account customers have the added benefit of periodic billing (monthly or quarterly) allowing them to further streamline payment processes.

  What is your refund/return policy?

Due to the nature of information products and the ease with which their value can be transferred, many of our client content providers will not accept returns under any circumstances. We will do their utmost to accommodate return requests and each must be handled on a case-by-case basis.   What is Web Access?

This is one of our delivery formats, where customers (purchasers) access directly to the publisher's dedicated website by themselves to download or view the purchased product. Information required for download or view, such as ID, password, access method and etc, will be informed by e-mail upon the completion of order processing.

  Are reports available for sale in sections?

This is taken on a case-by-case basis as some content provider's reports are more geared to this than others. In general, the value of most sections in a report is greatly enhanced when seen in the context of the entire report. Fortunately the selection available at our website allows a much greater possibility of finding a report that exactly meets your specific needs.

  What are the licenses for electronic versions?

Licenses for electronic versions are intended to authorize the use of the purchased products. Customers who purchase electronic versions (PDF or web access) must always select one from a range of licenses depending on the number of users. Here "license" means the license to use a given product and that is granted to users by the publisher of the product. Types of licenses are, therefore, quite varied and differed between publishers according to their policies.

Submission of a written form of "License Agreement" is often requested by some publishers to confirm customer's consent. We will send you necessary papers when required. Please fill the paper and send it back to us.
