Thailand Oil & Gas Q1 2019
Published: October 30, 2018 Content info: 83 Pages

Key View:

Gradually declining oil and gas production, alongside planned refining and LNG import capacity expansions will see Thailand become increasingly dependent on energy imports to meet rising demand. The growth in refined fuels consumption will continue over the coming years, albeit at a modest rate, with fuel price subsidies helping to cushion the effect of rising international oil prices on consumers. Gas will continue to lose its shine as an automotive fuel, although this will be offset by its growing stature as an industrial and petrochemicals feedstock.
