KKey View:

ey View: Price pressures faced by operators at the end of 2018 have weighed on revenue growth, and this has led to more

conservative 5G capex plans for 2019. 4G will see minimal growth moving forward as the segment is extremely saturated, with only

late-adopters which are generally of low-value left to upgrade to the new technology. Fixed broadband continues its growth as

operators invest in fiberisation and push their multi-play bundles to grow subscriber value. Internet of Things (IoT) will also be an

area to watch out for operators as their NB-IoT networks continue to gain traction among businesses. Government-commissioned

smart city deployments will also continue to underpin uptake.
