Indonesia Oil & Gas Q1 2020
Published: November 19, 2019 Content info: 101 Pages

Key View:

Indonesia's crude oil and natural gas production are both set to decline over our 10-year forecast period, due to the effects of natural declines from mature assets and lagging investment into new projects. State-owned Pertamina will be expected to take on a greater investment burden to make up for slowing IOC spend across the value chain, and this is likely to take a toll the SOE's ability to support domestic oil and gas production, progress infrastructure projects and fulfill other spending obligations. Downstream growth prospects remain constructive, supported by broadly favourable macro and industry outlooks. The current surplus in natural gas is forecast to dissipate by 2027, entailing imports.
