"Unit shipments are declining partly because of a high installed base coupled with long replacement cycles but also because of weak demand for upgrades and multiple speakers in the home stemming from issues of underutilization. Moreover, high inflation, declining disposable incomes, and record-high credit card debt - particularly in North America - are further squeezing consumers' wallets and putting downward pressure on demand for smart home devices such as smart speakers."
