This IDC study examines the market for digital transformation professional services, which is forecast to grow low double digits, with a CAGR of 14.0%, and is expected to reach over $290 billion by 2026. The forecast model is based on the professional services spending estimates created by IDC services analysts worldwide, which are then modeled and adjusted using IDC's Worldwide Digital Transformation Spending Guide - specifically using those elements for services related to core cloud technology as well as the big data and analytics, mobility, and social technology."We continue to see broad-based adoption of digital transformation across all types of organizations and thus good demand for the professional services to help with implementation. But a new factor driving spending growth this year is a significant rise in inflation at rates which have not been seen for several decades," says Gard Little, research vice president, Global Services, Markets, and Trends, IDC.
