Description

This report is currently available in Russian language only. However, we can provide an English version of the report within 3 weeks after receiving a payment.

This report is the first edition of the market research for mercury and its compounds in Russia and CIS countries .

The purpose of the study is to analyze the market for mercury and its compounds.

The object of the study is mercury and its compounds.

This work is a desk study . The sources of information used were data from the Federal Service for State Statistics of the Russian Federation (FSSS), statistics on rail transport in Russia, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, the State Customs Service of Ukraine, the Agency for Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, data from UNdata, USGS, InfoMine databases. Also, the data of the sectoral and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, as well as Internet sites of manufacturing enterprises and mercury consumers were involved.

Chronological framework of the study: 1997-2016; Forecast - until 2022 gg.

Geography of the survey : Russia, Ukraine - comprehensive detailed market analysis; A brief overview of the market of the CIS countries - Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan.

Scope of the research: the report consists of 5 parts, contains 78 pages, including 19 figures and 29 tables.

The first chapter of the report describes in detail the mineral resource base of mercury in the CIS (Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan), data on reserves and major deposits are given.

The second chapter presents data on mercury production technology, quality requirements, safety techniques for handling mercury, data on the extraction and processing of mercury raw materials with the receipt of marketable products. In this section, the dynamics of mercury production in metallic and mercury in concentrate in the CIS in 2006-2016 is given. In addition, a description is given of the main mercury-producing enterprises and mercury-antimony concentrate in the CIS countries (Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine).

The third chapter is devoted to foreign trade operations (2006-2016) with mercury products (mercury metal and its compounds, mercury tablets, mercury-antimony concentrate) by CIS countries (Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan). This chapter also analyzes the export-import prices (2006-2016) for the products in question.

The fourth chapter describes the consumption of mercury and its compounds in Russia. This chapter shows the dynamics of mercury consumption in Russia (2001-2016), data on the pattern of mercury consumption in Russia.

The final, fifth chapter describes the current trends in the development of the market for mercury and its compounds in Russia, mercury production in the CIS countries and provides a forecast of mercury consumption in Russia for the period up to 2022.

The appendix contains addresses and contact information of enterprises producing mercury products and consumer enterprises.

The target audience of the study:

  • -market participants in mercury and mercury products - producers, consumers, traders;
  • -potential investors.

The proposed study claims to be a reference tool for marketing services and specialists who make managerial decisions working in this market.
