This report is the seventh edition of a study of the iron ore market in Russia .

The purpose of the study is to analyze the Russian iron ore market.

The objects of research are iron ore raw materials, including concentrate, iron ore pellets, etc.

This work is a desk study . The sources of information were data from Rosstat, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (FCS of the Russian Federation), industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, websites of enterprises producing and consumers of iron ore products. Also, UNdata data were used, the Infomine database was used.

Chronological scope of the study: 2000-2020; forecast - 2021-2030

Geography of research: Russian Federation - detailed comprehensive market analysis.

The report consists of 8 Sections , contains 303 pages , including 93 tables , 49 figures and an appendix .

The first chapter of the report provides basic concepts and requirements for iron ores.

The second chapter of the report is devoted to the analysis of the state of the RF iron ore raw material base. Information on the distribution of iron ore reserves by region, as well as by the largest deposits is presented.

The third chapter provides information on the extraction of iron ore in Russia, including by regions and individual enterprises.

The fourth chapter is devoted to the production of commercial iron ore in the country (by region and by mining and processing enterprises). Data on the production of oxidized pellets and agglomerate at mining enterprises are presented separately.

The fifth chapter gives the balance of production and consumption of iron ore raw materials in Russia. The data on the dynamics of the production of iron and steel in the Russian Federation are presented, the schemes of iron ore supply by regions and to the main metallurgical plants are analyzed.

In the sixth chapter , foreign trade operations with iron ore raw materials are analyzed, and the main sales markets are shown.

The seventh chapter presents an analysis of the state of iron ore enterprises in Russia: volumes of ore mining and production of commercial iron ore, pellets, main sales markets, development prospects, etc. The data on the financial state of GOKs is presented.

The eighth chapter of the report presents a forecast of iron ore production in Russia for the period up to 2030, as well as the prospects for demand for iron ore raw materials in the Russian market.

The appendix contains addresses and contact information of the main iron ore enterprises in Russia.
