This IDC study provides a review of the 2023 U.S. production print market - ranking by shipments and value of shipments. "We see more focus from hardware manufacturers on automation and ease-of-use features to help print service providers cope with labor challenges and improve productivity," said Tim Greene, research director, IDC's Imaging, Printing, and Document Solutions. "We also see a lot of attention paid to features that enable more value to be created, with extra colors, inline finishing, and quality enhancement tools. Print service providers are being given access to technology that should help them drive more business and more profits."
