Global Infrastructure Sherpa is a live intelligence platform covering the global infrastructure market, updated continuously throughout the day.
Where incumbent platforms are organised around deals and maintained by editorial teams, GIS is organised around the parties to them - who transacts with whom, in what role, in which markets and technologies, and how those strategies shift over time. Every role on every deal is classified rather than left as free text. That single decision is what makes the relationship network queryable: a counterparty's repeat lenders, JV partners, offtakers and advisers can be listed on demand, and any two parties compared side by side.

HOW CLIENTS USE IT
- Transaction monitoring. A deal closed this morning is visible the same day - no lag, no editorial delay.
- Competitive intelligence. A counterpart building a position in a target geography surfaces as a pattern before it becomes publicly apparent.
- Counterparty due diligence. Who a party actually transacts with, in which roles and how often - repeat lenders, JV partners, offtakers and advisers.
- Origination. Warm introduction paths, co-investment patterns and gaps in a competitor's coverage, identified systematically rather than from memory.
Who is in the data
Every counterparty in the platform, sized by how often it appears across the 3,872 tracked deals.
Investors, developers, utilities, lenders, advisers, suppliers and offtakers are all classified by the role they played on each transaction.
Any counterparty's network, on demand
The same view focused on a single party - here TotalEnergies: 38 tracked deals and 95 counterparties, with the most frequent relationships sized largest. This is the question that ordinarily takes years of market experience to answer: who does this company actually work with, in which roles, and how often.
What the platform delivers
- Live deal feed. Transactions structured on capture and visible the same day, filterable by sector, sub-sector,
market, counterparty and deal type.
- Counterparty profiles and KYC. Deal history, role breakdown, capacity deployed, disclosed value, active
markets, technology focus, and the full first-degree network by role type.
- Relationship mapping. First, second and third degree connections, filterable by role, sector and market,
exportable to CSV.
- Investment preference profiling. AI-enriched preference scoring with confidence levels, cross-referenced
against actual observed deal behaviour rather than stated mandate.
- Competitive matchup. Any two counterparties side by side
- shared versus exclusive partners, markets,
technologies and network size.
- Ecosystem view. Industry-level counterparty relationships and cross-sector patterns that deal-by-deal
coverage cannot show.
- Natural language search. Query the full database in plain language, without keyword syntax.
- Alerts. Company-level notification on deal closings and new activity.
