A hybrid HVAC system includes appliances that are designed to perform at least one critical function. Unitary HVAC systems can supply both heating and cooling, with the primary heating process being conducted using electricity. A similar situation can occur with ventilation, whereby one vent system supplies air conditioning, and the other provides heating. However, unitary systems also sometimes provide heating and cooling along with ventilation. These appliances generally employ forced air systems. Inside most HVAC appliances, ductwork and evaporator coil pipes are connected through piping. These pipes are typically constructed of PVC, but other materials, such as copper, may be used if proper care is taken to protect the pipes from the elements. If plumbing is not installed properly, condensation will form on the inside of the pipes and this can lead to damage to the heating and cooling unit. Another potential problem is the formation of rust on pipes that pass through refrigerant lines. In this case, the refrigerant must be drained and refilled with fresh refrigerant, which must then be routed through piping again.
Increasing demand for energy-efficient devices is expected to boost the global HVAC equipment market growth during the forecast period. HVAC systems offer various advantages including energy efficiency as it is one of the biggest requirements in the technology sector. These systems have a very low environmental impact as it uses up to one-third less fuel than older models. Besides, high-efficiency HVAC systems have variable speed motors to ensure perfect airflow passes through the home or commercial setting. Better airflow means more comfortable temperatures, which keeps air healthier for individuals.
Moreover, the increasing trend of smart homes is expected to accelerate the growth of the global HVAC equipment market in the near future.
