ViVE 2026, held February 22–25 in Los Angeles, brought together more than 7,000 attendees, 230+ speakers, and 300 exhibitors to define the year’s direction in digital health. It reinforced a pivotal message for the healthcare IT ecosystem: AI has moved beyond experimentation and is now a core enterprise capability requiring scale, governance, and alignment. As organizations shift from pilot-stage to operationalizing AI across the enterprise, internal alignment-across expectations, workflows, and governance-is emerging as the primary barrier to progress. Solutions showcased at ViVE emphasized AI orchestration, enabling disparate models and tools to operate cohesively across legacy systems and reducing deployment friction.
Apart from AI governance and scalability, three other trends emerged as focus areas for digital health investment and innovation. First, non?clinical workflow automation-from revenue cycle management to patient communication and asset intelligence-is becoming the earliest and most scalable proving ground for AI’s enterprise value. Second, virtual care models are expanding beyond traditional telehealth to augment onsite care teams through virtual monitoring, asynchronous clinical pathways, and digital-first clinics. Finally, infrastructure modernization-including private 5G, edge computing, and smart connectivity-has become foundational to supporting secure, AI operations. Together, these converging trends position the healthcare industry for accelerated transformation-one defined by intelligent automation, interoperable ecosystems, and next?generation organizational readiness.
