For each of these categories, IDC has estimated value (end-user spending) and server units shipped."Server market growth was strong in 2022 and is now expected to flatten out in 2023 as the market absorbs its macroeconomic reality and backlogs have been brought down closer to historical levels," said Kuba Stolarski, research vice president for IDC's Compute and Storage Infrastructure Practice.
