"Foundry plays a central role in the semiconductor supply chain. The overall performance was conservative in 1H23 due to the revision of orders by IC design companies. However, semiconductor manufacturing has a long-term demand in the market. In 2H23, inventory in the supply chain will gradually decrease, foundry orders will tend to stabilize as chip orders increase for such fields as smartphone processors, AI, high-performance computing (HPC), CPU, graphics processing unit (GPU), Wi-Fi, and application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC).
