Europe's Road Map for Migration to Post-Quantum Cryptography

This IDC Perspective provides an overview of the road maps for post-quantum cryptography (PQC). Advancements toward cryptographically relevant quantum computers (CRQC) pose a significant threat to current cryptographic mechanisms, necessitating a proactive transition to quantum-resistant cryptography. European authorities have recognized this urgency through newly published guidance from the European Commission and the UK National Cyber Security Centre."As quantum capabilities advance, they present a substantial risk to existing cryptographic systems.
