The conversational intelligence software market stood at USD 24.5 billion in 2025 and is expected to grow at 11.5% between 2026 and 2032, reaching USD 52.4 billion by 2032. Organisations are running sales calls, service interactions, contact-centre queues, and meetings through platforms built on natural language processing, speech recognition, machine learning, and generative AI, turning recorded conversation into transcripts, summaries, sentiment reads, and intent signals they can act on.
The capability is already commercial rather than experimental. Google Cloud's Customer Experience Insights, for one, applies machine learning to conversations to pull out sentiment, entities, call topics, and interaction patterns.
What sustains demand is the link to revenue. Salesforce found 81% of sales teams investing in AI in 2024, and 83% of teams using AI reported revenue growth against 66% of teams without it. As businesses push harder on sales productivity, customer experience, and cutting manual review out of quality assurance, the case for analysing conversations at scale rather than sampling a handful of calls keeps getting easier to make.
