APAC Utility-Scale Energy Storage Pricing Report 2025

Report Summary:

This report analyses the cost of lithium-ion battery energy storage systems (BESS) within the APAC utility-scale energy storage segment, providing a 10-year price forecast by both system and component. The report covers major APAC energy storage markets including China, Australia, Japan, South Korea and India. Most of these markets are moving to Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery chemistry except South Korea where use of Nickle Manganese Cobalt (NMC) chemistry will persist in the medium term, given an already established domestic manufacturing base. All prices in this report and the data file are in real 2025 price.
