U.S. Business Use Smartphone Forecast, 2024-2028

This IDC study presents the five-year forecast for the U.S. business use smartphone shipments by operating system and user type (consumer, individual liable, and corporate liable). It is part of IDC's continuing research with respect to mobile devices. Findings in this document are based on information gathered from primary and secondary sources during the past six months."After a difficult 2023, U.S. business use smartphone shipments are expected to begin recovery in 2024, reaching 2022 shipment volumes by 2026," said Bryan Bassett, research manager, IDC's Enterprise Mobility: Workspace and Deployment Strategies program. "Persistent growth in corporate-liable deployments combined with prolonged refresh rates will result in a steady but measured increase in shipment volumes through 2028."
